Isn’t it ironic that the more you seek security, the less of it you have?
In fact, I would go as far to say that when you are obsessed with security, you are imprisoning yourself. By rejecting risk, you eliminate all possibilities of true success.
The great thing about risk taking (even when the risks you take fail)…is that it gets you closer to new possibilities that are hidden, just around the corner.
By taking a chance, you move ahead. When you move ahead you increase the likelihood of getting closer to achieving something new.
Risk and failure are key ingredients in living a creative life.
Not taking any risks due to the fear of failure is like choosing to not drive a car, in case you get in an accident and die. But guess what? You can also die in your sleep.
The more risks you take, the more you are actually increasing your chances of obtaining security.
Living (or hiding) in a protective sanctuary of safety is a risk nobody can afford to take!
